The Geelong Half Marathon is held annually on the first Sunday after Easter. It begins at Belmont Park (Melway Ref 451 K8) and follows the bike path to Breakwater on to Fyansford and returns to Belmont Park.
It is a scenic course alongside the Barwon River. Each year part of the proceeds are donated to the Andrew Love Cancer Centre in Geelong. There is also a 7.6 kilometre event for the less experienced runners.
